The Lost Kitten
One sunny afternoon, Sarah and Tim were playing in their backyard. They heard a soft, mewing sound coming from the bushes. Curious, they followed the sound and discovered a tiny, grey kitten hiding there. The kitten looked scared and hungry. Sarah said, "Poor little kitten! We need to help it." Tim agreed, and they gently picked up the kitten and brought it inside their house. They gave it a bowl of milk and some cat food. The kitten happily ate its meal. Sarah and Tim decided to make posters with a picture of the kitten and their phone number. They wanted to find its owner. They put up the posters around their neighborhood. A few days later, the phone rang. It was a lady who said, "I think you found my kitten! I saw your poster at the grocery store." Sarah and Tim were excited. They gave the lady their address, and she came to pick up her lost kitten. The lady was very grateful and thanked them for taking care of her pet. The siblings waved goodbye to the kitten, feeling happy that they had helped reunite it with its owner.
